I'm a writer based in Chicago. I come from the south, where I studied programming and film at the University of Oklahoma before heading to DePaul University for graduate school, focused on niche entertainment and mainstream adaptation. Whether it's popular or deeply weird, I'm on it.
I've written about film, TV, books, and video games for outlets like The Guardian, The Hollywood Reporter, Playboy, Vanity Fair, Paste Magazine, Interview Magazine, Forbes, RogerEbert.com, and SYFY.
I was an editor for Film School Rejects and podcast host/producer for Anchor FM before moving on to full-time freelancing. Below you can find a sample of my work, but if you'd like to see all of it, you can find it here.
